Bedroom Furniture Removal Checklist

List every piece, empty it completely, and flag fragile or attached parts. That gives the provider enough detail to plan the load.

Bedroom Furniture Removal Checklist

Make a room inventory

Count dressers, chests, nightstands, benches, wardrobes, mirrors, headboards, and loose bed parts. Use plain descriptions and approximate dimensions. A photo may help when a piece is unusually large or built in an unfamiliar way.

Empty and check every compartment

Remove clothing, documents, jewelry, medication, cash, chargers, and anything taped underneath or tucked behind a drawer. Check secret drawers and the space under removable drawer liners. The crew should not have to decide what is personal property.

Mark parts that detach

Mirrors, glass tops, shelves, drawers, and loose legs may need separate handling. Tell the provider which parts detach and whether you need the item preserved. Do not dismantle a heavy piece unless you can do so safely.

Room-ready checklist

Inventory completed; contents removed; keep and remove items separated; route checked; pets secured; building access confirmed; parking instructions ready; specialty items disclosed.

Get a scope that matches the room

Item count, size, weight, stairs, carry distance, and dismantling needs can all affect the estimate. A clear inventory reduces changes when the crew arrives.
